In Casey Anthony’s bankruptcy hearing in Tampa, the woman stated that she is merely living off the kindness of others around her. She exclaimed that she is unemployed, does not own a car, and has no money other than some gift cards she received from random supporters and friends. She is currently living rent free because some of her friends have allowed her to do so. Anthony has possession of merely $ 484 at the moment.
Casey’s tone throughout the trial was very flat and humble; she answered with simply ‘yes sir’ or ‘no sir’ to the questions she was asked.
Casey also added that she owes her criminal lawyer Jose Baez almost half a million dollars in fee for her trial defense, but he was still kind enough to lend her about $ 3,400 in cash to support her living expenses.
When asked who pays for Casey’s cell phone, she refused to unveil the name because it would compromise her safety.
