Foo Fighters ‘Last Concert’ In a Long Time: American band Foo Fighters has apparently played its last gig recently. Fans received a great shock when the world famous band closed a three day music event with sad news. The lead runner of Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl gave fans the message that the last show of the tour will be the very last for a long time to come.
Grohl and the band were just done playing a large set of 26 songs and singing the birthday song to Grohl’s mom. The band admitted that there is a lot to play; however they won’t be playing for a very long time now. Fans concluded that the band is probably not breaking up, instead the boys are just taking a break.
The last concert went on for around two and a half hours. The frontman Dave Grohl paid tribute to his ex band mates from Nirvana Krist Novoselic and Kurt Cobain. Grohl also invited his daughters on stage to dedicate a song to them each.
According to those in attendance the gig was one of a kind and very memorable. It definitely brought down the house and the Foo Fighters’ last concert will be remembered for long. This is very shocking news for Foo fans around the globe.
Foo Fighters was formed in 1994 by drummer Dave Grohl after his band Nirvana lost singer Kurt Cobain. As predicted, the new band turned out to be as legendary as Nirvana. The Foo Fighters continued to rock music lovers and gather appreciation.
Band members include Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear. Musicians William Goldsmith and Franz Stahl have also been members of the band in the past. The band has churned out a total of seven albums and has been a prominent front runner at the Grammy Awards.
