Hulk Hogan Photos and Bio: Hulk Hogan is an American professional wrestler, television personality and actor who is a twelve time world champion. He has earned six WWE/WWF Championships and six WCW World Heavyweight Championships. Hogan also won a WWE World Tag Team Championship with wrestler Edge.

He was born as Terry Gene Bollea on August 11, 1953 in Augusta, Georgia to Peter Bollea and Ruth Bollea. He was brought up in Port Tampa, Florida. He was a part of the Little League Baseball as a little boy. Hogan’s interest in wrestling developed at the age of 16 when he started to watch professional wrestling.

Apart from his interest in wrestling and wrestling cards, Hogan also loved music. He was a skilled bass guitarist and played with many rock bands in Florida for over ten years. Working out at the gym and weight lifting also became his spare time hobby.

Hogan was discovered by tag team wrestlers and brothers Jack and Gerald Brisco in 1976. In 1977 Hogan started playing his initial matches as a wrestler. As a renowned wrestler, he was famous for his signature flashy attire and light hair. Hulk Hogan used two finishing moves that became his distinguishing style: the axe bomber and the running leg drop. Other characteristic moves introduced by Hulk Hogan included the atomic drop, the big boot, the body slam, the clothesline, and multiple theatrical punches, among others.

In his wrestling career, Hulk Hogan has had three managers: Freddie Blassie, Miss Elizabeth and Jimmy Hart. Hulk Hogan has been associated with TNA wrestling, serving as a Managing Partner, President and the General Manager on various instances.

Hogan is an established actor as well; he made his debut with Rocky III in 1982. He has been part of movies like Mr. Nanny (1992), Assault on Death Mountain (1999) and Little Hercules (2009), among many others.

Hulk Hogan married Jennifer McDaniel in December 2010. He has released an autobiography titled ‘My Life Outside the Ring’.
