Iron Man 3 Trailer Released: The most awaited movie trailer of this year was released on Tuesday, marking excitement and fervor among anticipating audiences. The Iron Man 3 trailer is a big hit, and it comes with a surprise – the villain this time is none other than Marvel comics’ bad man, the Mandarin.
The fact that Iron Man 3 is a super hero film (that too from Marvel comics!), makes its release a bigger event. The first Iron Man 3 trailer was released at midnight PST – the third installment of the series looks much darker and more serious that the preceding films.
In the trailer you will see the playboy, philanthropist, billionaire and genius super hero Tony Stark losing everything in life. He loses his girlfriend Pepper Potts (played by actress Gwyneth Paltrow) and every other thing he values – all because of the dangerous villain, the Mandarin. The trailer shows the Iron Man fighting (and falling) in a snowy setting, and getting badly injured.
Initially, fans of the Marvel comics’ series were told that the villain will be played by none other than Sir Ben Kingsley. After that announcement it was presumed that the role would be nothing less than mind blowing, but there was no news about it being the Mandarin. The Oscar winning actor is expected to step up this installment of Iron Man by a notch; an expectation last made from the Joker (Heath Ledger) in The Dark Knight.
There was some critique going on about Ben Kingsley not being enough Chinese looking to play the Mandarin. However it should be noted that the character is only partly Chinese, and Ben is the best choice for it whatsoever.
Iron Man 3 is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Shane Black. The film starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow will be releasing on April 26, 2013 in the United Kingdom. It will be distributed by none other than Walt Disney Pictures.
