She was born as Jennifer Joanna Aniston on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles to parents Jon Aniston and Nancy Doe. Her Greek father and American mother were both actors, who passed on their talented genes to Jennifer.

She has two half siblings; they were raised in New York and Aniston has also spent some of her childhood in her ancestral hometown Greece.

Jennifer Aniston studied in New York at the Rudolf Steiner School. She later pursued her acting interest and graduated from Manhattan’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.

Until Jennifer Aniston moved to Los Angeles in 1989, Aniston worked in off-Broadway plays like Dancing On Checker’s Grave. She took up small jobs like waiting and telemarketing to support herself.

In 1992 Jennifer Aniston stepped into the world of films with Leprechaun, which proved to be a commercial success.

She was also part of films like Picture Perfect (1997), Office Space (1999) and The Iron Giant (1999). Her greatest box office hits include Bruce Almighty (2003) with Jim Carrey, and Marley & Me (2008) with Owen Wilson.

She filed for divorce in March 2005 after her husband was found guilty of cheating on her with actress Angelina Jolie. After her divorce, Jennifer Aniston is currently dating Justin Theroux.
