Orozco and the team are now under strict pressure because they are anticipated to win the Olympics with flying colors. The US Gymnastics team is expected to now shock the world with a gold medal.

Danell Leyva was the front runner before the Olympics began and Orozco was constantly overlooked despite of outstanding talent. The Americans had no hope because of the Japanese’s fiery talent that came in the shape of Kohei Uchimura. However, Orozco rose with unexpected performance and stunned everyone – now USA is the front runner in the 2012 London Olympics Gymnastics.

CNN reported recently that John Orozco’s former coach, Carl Schrade, had always been enthusiastic regarding his student. He said that Orozco always had a hunger to do more and improve his game.

Scharde added that Orozco was a student who did not have any money to pay the tuition fee – so considering his extreme eagerness he trained him for free. He praised Orozco saying that he is not a once in a lifetime gymnast – instead he is a once in a hundred lifetimes gymnast.

It is fascinating for the United States that they entered the Olympics without any confidence and anticipation to win. The gymnastics’ victory has changed this and given confidence to other US teams as well.

John Orozco is a teenage American gymnast who currently trains at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado. He was featured in a Gym Class Heroes music video titled ‘The Fighter’. According to Orozco the title compliments him and he considers himself a fighter.
