Lance Armstrong Stripped of Seven Tour de France TitlesThe legendary cyclist who won seven Tour de France titles does not exist anymore – Lance Armstrong has been stripped off his titles and his name was erased from history. Armstrong is no longer an epic name in the cycling sport; he has also been banned for life from the sporting world.

The results from the United States Anti Doping Agency are out and Armstrong has been declared guilty of using banned substances that gave him a very unjustified edge over the other cyclists. Lance Armstrong’s championship titles were confiscated and he was asked to return all the rewards and honors given to him during his era.

Lance Armstrong will be returning his medals, and around $3.8 million of prize money that he has been receiving throughout his career. It is reported that Armstrong might also be asked to give back his yellow jerseys. His name will be erased from the history books and he is no longer the speed demon who won championships and hearts throughout his career.

After the misfortunate event, Lance Armstrong removed his championship titles from his Twitter biography page. There is no more any reference to the Tour de France events on his Twitter page; there was also a tweet mentioning that the cyclist will be stepping down as the chairman of the Livestrong foundation. Armstrong has nearly 3.79 million followers on Twitter, and he still has to address them regarding the horrific event that has occurred to him in the past few days. Only time will tell how Armstrong will address this situation.

The legendary cyclist came into the limelight after winning multiple titles in his sport, and later when he battled cancer with bravery. His successful feud with cancer made him the official ambassador for the Livestrong foundation – his famous Livestrong bands were sold around the world as a cult favorite and to spread awareness.
