Mia Love’s Wikipedia Page Hacked
Mia Love’s Wikipedia Page Hacked: The mayor of Utah, Mia Love became a shining star right after she delivered her speech at the Republican National Convention. The Republican Party was awestruck by the young woman’s powerful speech and gave her titles like ‘novelty’, ‘rock star’, ‘myth buster’ and ‘a surprise’.
Soon after the mayor’s popularity shot up by leaps and bounds, she became a victim of internet hatred. Apparently some of her enemies could not tolerate Mia Love’s rising fame and hacked her Wikipedia page. The Wikipedia article describing Love’s profile was altered and filled with obscene remarks.
The new and profane article used intolerable words like ‘dirty, worthless wh**e’ and ‘house nig**r’. The hackers also wrote that Mia Love is a total sell out to the Right Wing Hate machine, and also a slave to the greedy GOP controllers. The article said that Love is a woman who had sold her soul to run the big business – this profanity was removed from the Wikipedia page immediately. However screenshots proving that the crime took place are making rounds of the internet.
Cyber crimes like hacking have taken up a new color recently. Celebrities and media personalities are abused by such events; to make matters worse it is very difficult to track down these internet criminals. It is hard to tell whether this war is against the African-American woman mayor or the conservative Republicans.
Mia Love is the official Republican Party candidate for the year 2012 and will compete against Democrat Jim Matheson in November this year. Her rousing speech on Tuesday night was short and sweet. She sent a message to President Obama saying that the Americans are wide awake and in 2012 they won’t be buying what he is selling.
Mia is a favorite because she is the first African American woman to become a mayor and lead a groundbreaking Republican campaign.
