N.J Teen Kara Alongi Missing Police Searches for 16 Year Old Girl: 16 year old Kara Alongi tweeted a rather scary message on Twitter, after which she disappeared. The teenage girl wrote to her followers that someone was in her house; she also appealed that someone should call 911.
Soon after her tweet was broadcasted, a wave of panic started to rush through Twitter. Her fans, followers and other mutual followers tweeted to get Kara Alongi help. The hash tag #helpfindkara started to trend on the social networking website as thousands of people became aware of the situation. Many people admitted that Kara’s disappearance was very scary.
Soon after the panic began, police authorities visited Kara Alongi’s house to investigate the matter. They worked inside the teenage girl’s house, looking for clues and evidence of foul play. There were rumors that Kara was kidnapped, however the police chief has denied these allegations.
The police chief of Clark, Alan Scherb said that he does not smell any foul play in the Kara Alongi case. He denied the rumors that Kara was kidnapped, and reported that there was no sign of criminal activity in her home. People started to tweet the news that Kara was found, but the police chief Alan has denied this news as well.
Kara’s parents returned from her brother’s sporting event that evening and found the house empty. Alan Scherb added that there could be a chance that Kara Alongi ran away. The chief also requested that if anyone sees Kara, they should report to the authorities immediately.
The authorities are also suggesting that Kara Alongi’s tweet was a hoax. It was an internet spam to spark attention by Kara or someone else who was using it. The K-9 units that tracked the girl’s scent reported that she might have left the back door of her home and out from a neighbor’s back yard.
