Reality TV Star Joey Kovar Dead at 29; Drugs to Blame: The troubled and drug addicted reality TV star Joey Kovar has died at the age of 29. The star who got famous after appearing on the VH1 show ‘Celebrity Rehab’ was found dead early this morning at a friend’s house in Chicago.

Kovar’s family and close friends are blaming drugs for his death. He was struggling with drug addiction for quite some time and there was probably an overdose. A female friend found Joey’s body early this morning at a friend’s house – his ears and nose were bleeding. She called 911 straight away and the authorities pronounced him dead at arrival.

The authorities have said that no foul play is being suspected in the Kovar death case. Even though the death occurred in unknown and mysterious circumstances, there is no chance of criminal activity.

While on Celeb Rehab Joey Kovar was struggling with cocaine and ecstasy pill addiction. He also appeared on the reality TV show ‘Real World: Hollywood’, where he entered rehab during the season for battling alcohol and substance abuse.

Kovar admitted that he has been a slave to drugs for many years now. He was currently living at Evergreen Park and was free from drugs for the past six months. Kovar remained sober and was trying his luck in acting these days, his family reported to the media. The reality star was a body builder and personal trainer before his venture into the media.

Conflicting with the rest of the family’s statement, his brother David Kovar said that drugs are the last to cause Kovar’s death. According to him his brother had been sober and clean for too long, and he was working on an acting project currently. The family had spoken to Joey last on Thursday. David Kovar also added that Joey’s death has come as a complete shock to him and the family.
