Super Bowl 2013: Date Time Tickets Schedule and More: The highly awaited Super Bowl event has arrived, and sports fans are bursting with cheer as the tickets for the Super Bowl became available. The Super Bowl Sunday is scheduled to take place on 3rd February, 2013 in New Orleans, Los Angeles. CBS will be telecasting the Super Bowl game that will kick off at 6:30 pm EST.

After the Championship matches conclude today, the final list of the competing teams will be released – for now, the 49ers are confirmed to be a part of the exciting Super Bowl game.

The recent update stated that the 49ers had beaten the Falcons by a close score of 28-24 – they will therefore be playing against the Ravens-Patriot game winner.

With only two weeks left for the 2013 Super Bowl, it was revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs team will not be participating yet again. According to an estimate, it has been almost 15,716 days since the Kansas City Chiefs had been part of a Super Bowl game. Moreover, they have not won a playoff game since the last 6,945 days.

The Kansas City Chiefs were unable to participate because of their loss in the qualifying matches – in Week 1 they had lost the game to the Atlanta Falcons, and in Week 5 they succumbed to the Baltimore Ravens.

The teams competing for a place in the Super Bowl 2013 included The Ravens, Patriots, 49ers and Falcons – the 49ers are a confirmed participant, and the Falcons were disqualified.

If the Patriots win today, this will be the eighth time they will appear in a Super Bowl event. Other teams that have appeared eight times i.e. the most number of times in the Super Bowl include the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburg Steelers.

As the qualifying teams have been finalized, the number of Super Bowl tickets purchased is also increasing.
